10th Day of Christmas- All You Need is Love #3

I started my career as a high school art teacher. I LOVED my students and teaching painting, sculpture, drawing, wheel thrown ceramics and foundations. I loved my big classes of students and all we made together. I realized that I thrive in organized chaos. Finding beauty in the imperfections. The whole always greater  than the sum of its parts.

My ongoing series of messy hearts embodies that part of me. Throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Not entirely knowing how I will get to my destination but enjoying the journey anyway. Allowing life to be imperfectly perfect full of color, mess, surprises and love.
