When the Redbud Blooms

When I moved away from the Blue Ridge Mountains, I feared i would have an emptiness inside as they always gave me a sense of comfort to see them in the distance. (I was lucky enough to move across the street from South Mountain Park/Preserve in Phoenix- one of the largest municipally managed parks in the nation and consists of three mountain ranges - the Ma Ha Tauk, Gila and Guadalupe.) So I still feel the comfort of the mountains every single day. This colorful original is a 30” x 30” stretched canvas painted the summer of 2024.
