GEMSTONE PALETTE EARRINGS - The Tucson Edit

My work has always been a practice in noticing beautiful things around me. I love the act of gathering colors, shapes, and textures from the world around me. These new earrings, The Gemstone Palettes: Sourced in the Tucson Desert is the three-dimensional extension of that practice.

This January, I made a pilgrimage to the Tucson Gem Show to hand-select every faceted stone, pearl, faceted bead in this collection. These aren't just beads…I can see that they are geological pigments in a gorgeous palette of colors.

While these gems are gifts from the earth worldwide, they were gathered for my palette on a memorable day to form wearable studies in light and color. Each pair is hand-wrapped in my Phoenix studio, designed to be a miniature work of art for you to wear.
