Some of the most beautiful places we know are the ones we visit only in dreams: a garden half-remembered, soft at the edges, where everything feels peaceful and exactly as it should be. I wanted this painting to feel like wandering into one of those places.

I see tall, airy forms rise through the canvas like stems reaching toward light, and at their feet, small blooms of pink, blue, and gold gather as if a garden has quietly awakened.

As I painted, I built the surface in soft, translucent layers, pulling paint upward in long strokes and letting earlier colors whisper through. I wanted nothing to feel fixed or heavy. The more I let go, the more the painting drifted into that hazy, in-between place where dreams live, and that became its heart.

Dreaming in Harmony brings a serene, restful presence to a space, lovely above a bed or console where it can be lived with slowly, in a light-filled classic room or a calm, natural one. To me, it is a painting about rest and wonder, and about the gentle harmony we find when we allow ourselves to slow down and dream.
