Love is rarely one grand gesture. It is woven from countless small moments: a kind word, a shared laugh, a hand held at just the right time. Over the years, those threads come together into something rich and beautiful. I wanted this painting to honor that weaving.

As I painted, I built the surface with many small, deliberate strokes, each one laid beside the last like a thread finding its place. Some are bold, some are gentle, and a few touches of gold are tucked in along the way, the way certain moments shine a little brighter in memory. Only when I stepped back did I see how all of those small marks had become one connected whole.

At this scale, Love's Tapestry is a lovely piece for a bedroom, entry, or a quiet corner where it can be enjoyed up close. It also makes a meaningful gift for an anniversary, wedding, or someone dear. To me, it is a painting about the beauty of a life shared, and about how every small act of love becomes part of something lasting.
