he Annual Palette Collection: A Painter’s History

Every year, as the holiday season begins, I open the vault on a unique and highly sought-after collection: my actual, used paint palettes. The palettes are 8” x 10” and are matted in a 12” x 14” white mat with white backing. (See framing options for additional charge below.)

These are not reproductions; they are original, signed works—a direct and intimate view into my creative mind. Each piece is an unintentional painting, capturing the exact colors, textures, and decisions made during the creation of the year’s major works.

The Art of the Scrape

While a finished painting shows the result, the palette reveals the journey. Thick, sculptural swaths of paint mix and mingle in ways the artist never fully planned, resulting in vibrant, abstract compositions. By offering these palettes, I transform the raw materials of creation into a finished, frame-ready piece that celebrates process as art.
