- I see the horizon as a place where the sky meets land and the spiritual meets the physical. Gazing at the horizon allows us a moment to ponder what that means to us. I use my brushstrokes, my textures and my colors to symbolize a real landscape and an internal dwelling place at the same time. This one is a personal favorite full of thick painterly brushstrokes and lush colors. Will always remind me of home.
